The DTVLink-A and NX-GEN radios’ WEB GUIs are compatible with all current versions of Java, up to and including Java 11 (JSR 384).
If your radio is using the latest application revision (application 3.4.10rc2) it does NOT require a Java-enabled WEB browser. Earlier versions of the radios’ application (2.9.48, 3.1.134, etc.) DO require a Java-enabled WEB browser.
How Do I Configure Java to work with Moseley Radios?
Java Version 8 and newer (aka versions 1.8 or JSR 337 and newer) require the IP address of each radio be added to Java's “Exception Site List.” Follow the steps below to accomplish this task:
- Open the Java Control Panel.
- On the “Security” tab, ensure that "Enable Java Content" is checked.
- Click “Edit Site List.”
- Click “Add.”
- Enter the IP address of the radio (for example http://192.168.1.110), and then click “Enter.”
- A prompt will appear stating that the HTTP site is insecure. Click “Continue” and then click “OK”
Java Version 7 and Older
-Open the Java Control Panel.
-On the “Security” tab, ensure that "Enable Java Content" is checked
-Set the Security Level to “Medium,” and then click “OK.”
