How Do I Disable/Mute the Transmit Power of a DTVLink-A or NX-GEN Radio?

The RF output of a DTVLink-A or NX-GEN radio can be muted from within the WEB GUI.

1. Navigate to “Link Configuration -> Radio Link -> ODU Configuration.”
2. Click "Mute ODU."
3. To enable the RF output, simply click "Unmute ODU" or reboot the radio. 

The WEB GUI page also allows you to completely disable the ODU by turning off the 48 VDC that is sent over the IF line to the ODU. This will disable the transmit and the receive functions of the ODU. 

1. To disable the 48 VDC to the ODU click "Disable ODU."
2. To enable the 48 VDC to the ODU click "Enable ODU."
